When it comes to modern construction solutions, #speed is everything. Recently, on a 200MW AI-based data center project in Abilene, Texas, DBC proved to the market that our #InsulatedMetalPanels (IMP) systems can deliver industry-leading results. ?? Lightning Speed:?Our team completed our fastest project ever,?manufacturing 656 prefinished exterior panels in ~60 days and standing them on-site in two months. Our on-site install team averaged 134 panels every 10 days,?turning over each building in less than 2 weeks. The IMP panels helped close up the first building's?exterior quickly, allowing the roof to be completed and drying in the interior so other trades could hit the ground running. ?? Minimal Site Disruption: Our approach minimizes interference with other trades and critical paths—a major value driver for complex advanced technology projects—using fewer on-site materials, efficient shuttle logistics,?and a smaller crane, equating to a minimized on-site footprint. ?? Sustainability in Action: With IMPs, we're unlocking new possibilities for owners with ambitious #sustainability goals. IMPs provide high thermal resistance and continuous insulation, reducing heating and cooling energy demands. ??We’re honored that the Mayo Clinic Arizona Bold Forward West Expansion has been recognized as Engineering News-Record’s Best of the Best in the Healthcare category! This national award reflects the project team’s exceptional commitment to innovation and excellence in healthcare construction. Driven by the growing need for complex healthcare services in the Southwest, this transformative project doubled the emergency department to 56 rooms, enabling care for 75,000 patients annually. The expansion also added a 46-bed progressive care unit, a 36-bed observation unit and a 28-bed ICU, significantly enhancing patient care and hospital capabilities.? It's the beginning of a new chapter for healthcare in Santa Fe! Nexus Health's stunning new three-story, 90,000 SF medical office building and cancer center is officially open and ready to serve the local community. Over 100 guests gathered for the ribbon-cutting ceremony, including representatives from Nexus, TriCore Reference Laboratories, X-Ray Associates of New Mexico, and Meridian; Santa Fe's Mayor, Alan Webber; New Mexico's Lieutenant Governor, Howie Morales; various state legislators and members of The US Oncology Network's team; plus an assortment of family, friends, and patients. Nexus' Director, Nicole McKinney, Mayor Webb, Lt. Gov. Morales, and Dr. Scott Herbert, MD, MBA shared remarks emphasizing this project's significance and positive impact for Santa Fe's residents. Nexus Health has combined a wide range of medical services—medical oncology, radiation oncology, imaging, and specialty equipment like a linear accelerator (LINAC), PET/CT, MRI, and more—into this this state-of-the-art facility, revolutionizing how care is delivered by putting patient care and convenience at the forefront.
