Very honored and humbled, heart brimming with lots of emotions today: proud of my entire team….they truly are the recipients of this award. Very special people who are committed and passionate every day to support and protect our customers networks across the United States! I’m excited for the future, as this is the 5th award accepted this year. But the nostalgia from where I started almost 30 years ago today on my entrepreneurial journey to standing on the stage accepting this award is what really hit me last night. Thirty years ago, I had just upgraded my living situation from a tent to a studio apartment. And shortly after that, I wrote my first business plan, which was shelved because the technology didn’t yet exist to support it. I started many businesses over the years since then, some fairly successful with many failures. But that business plan was pulled from the archives and would eventually become Digital Boardwalk as it is now. The technology evolved along with me and the timing was right. I always had the spark, but needed the right kindling to launch this. The moral though is this: I never quit. I remained resilient. I learned what I needed to know. I brought passion….always. Proud of what my team has accomplished. And nostalgic of the road I travelled to get here. #neverstop #entrepreneur #teamwork #Entrecon
