A sneak peek into our latest project, a transformative realm of therapeutic innovation for the Usona Institute. Through the integration of holographic lighting, an ambisonic sound system, generative visuals and music, and a customized user interface, therapists at the Usona Institute now possess unparalleled control over the emotional dynamics of group sessions. This visionary endeavor saw Digital Ambiance's team of artists and designers collaborating seamlessly with neuroscientists and therapists, collectively shaping a transcendental and unifying experience for guests. Visitors step into a space where immersive art and emotional well-being converge, elevating group therapy to new heights.

"Tropical ipe hardwoods were combined with a bamboo-polymer hybrid diffuser to blend the sculptural form with the natural look and feel of the rest of the property. The subtle diffusion layer creates a softer illumination from the LEDs when lit, and fits seamlessly with the appearance of bamboo inlay within the ipe hardwood when at rest. The fabrication design was done through Rhino with Grasshopper parametrics allowing the team to create intricate digital fabrication and wiring diagrams during the design process. Transforming luxury into an experience: Our journey began in 2020, crafting a dynamic masterpiece for a high-end residence on a private island in the British Virgin Islands. ??? The vision was to seamlessly connect the open-air ground floor to a second-story viewing platform through a cutting-edge, dynamically illuminated staircase. Blending tropical ipe hardwoods with a bamboo-polymer hybrid diffuser, our design harmonizes sculptural form with natural aesthetics. The result? A staircase that's a work of art in itself, softly illuminated by custom IP68 submersible LEDs. ??
