Leveraging the power of digital tools in post-clinical rehabilitation Hear from our partner and pilot leader Tünde Jurca, introducing the vison and activities of the Universitatea din Oradea in the #Digi4care EU Interreg Project. ?? The cardiovascular epidemic According to the latest data, cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of death in Romania, with approximately 80% of these cases linked to modifiable risk factors such as physical inactivity, unhealthy diet, smoking, and more. ?? Improving cardiac rehabilitation: The #Digi4Care solution This project aims to promote lifestyle change in patients, which is a crucial element of cardiac rehabilitation. By testing various digital technologies, it has the ability to monitor patient progress and encourage adoption of exercise programmes. Data analysis will identify potential strategies to personalise exercise prescription and improve therapeutic approaches. ?? The Universitatea din Oradea leads the way in Pilot 3 "Our university's involvement in this project can lead to improved healthcare outcomes by promoting effective digital health practices, fostering educational research and excellence, promoting physical activity and enhancing the social well-being of local communities across the Danube region." "The pilot will take place at the Avram Iancu Clinical Hospital and will focus on several key areas such as clinical parameter monitoring, lifestyle modification, bioimpedance measurement and peripheral arterial disease screening." ?? About Pilot 3 in a nutshell: We are testing the uptake of digital technologies in post-clinical rehabilitation, outpatient and long-term care settings in the areas of cardiovascular disease (CVD) and diabetes, with approximately 30-100 patients each. Participants: Gottsegen National Cardiovascular Center, Ludwig Boltzmann Institute, Digital Health and Innovation Cluster Bulgaria, Kelvin Health, Hospital Consulting HC, Preparations are in place, great results to come! #DIGI4Care #DigitalHealth #HealthcareInnovation #DanubeRegion #DigitalTransformation #PatientJourney
