Built in 1985, Prospector Park is the first and largest developed park in the City of Apache Junction. This popular park is home to many pickleball players, and courts are always in demand. Dig Studio recently met with the local pickleball group and pickleball experts to discuss plans for?expanding and enhancing the pickleball facilities. These improvements will create more opportunities for everyone to enjoy this vibrant, growing sport. On November 2nd, Dig Studio, Inc. joined the Valley of the Sun’s premier advocacy group for responsible development, Valley Partnership, for their 37th Annual Community Project Day of Action at the Sojourner Center. Over 350 volunteers and over 70 sponsors worked together to make multiple facility improvements to the Sojourner Center Emergency Shelter Campus. On October 24th, the Sedona Western Gateway Master Plan team was thrilled to launch a robust public engagement process with Sedona citizens to reimagine the former Cultural Park site — a 41-acre area on the west edge of Sedona. Our team gathered valuable insights from the community to help shape the master plan. During the public meeting, participants identified their top five choices across housing types, public spaces, commercial and services, and activities and events. In the workshop session, instead of a preset plan, participants used scaled maps and adhesive cutouts to create their own site layouts. Last weekend, we gathered to honor the memory of our dear friend and colleague, Ryan Godderz, during our 2nd Annual Ryan Godderz Memorial Ride. As an avid bicyclist, Ryan found joy in cycling, and we celebrated his life with a beautiful fall ride among friends.
