Ever wondered what your dog wishes for at Christmas time? ?? Aside from cuddles, new toys, and endless hours with you on walks, they’re also probably wishing for a sneaky bite of your Christmas dinner. Fear not - our chefs have been busy cooking up our beloved Festive Feast recipe, as well as introducing a limited-edition Turkey & Trimmings treat for your pup’s dessert, so they don’t have to miss out. This warming dish features everyone's festive favourite, Turkey, complemented by Cranberries to help boost our pups’ immune systems during the cold, winter weather. Our canine nutritionist carefully selected Sage, a wonderful addition for respiratory health during the winter months, as well as Parsnip, which has been shown to have anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory properties, as additional ingredients in the recipe. It’s been a busy few months for us here at Different Dog, but after many of our customers asked for our Festive Feast back for another year, we couldn’t not. Our Pup Partners have already been posing and snapping with our new product releases and sharing their thoughts online. We love spooky season here at Different Dog HQ because it gives us the perfect opportunity to look at cute dogs in costumes while combining our two favourite themes: sustainability and community. We challenged our Pup Partners to create a Halloween costume or spooky scene using only our packaging. The results? See below ??? ? The Halloween challenge encouraged our Pup Partners and their audiences to think of new and creative ways to reuse our packaging. Whilst many of our customers choose to reuse parts of our packaging in their everyday lives, we wanted to add a fun twist for the season!? ? This selected group of influencers loves our recipes and enjoys sharing their thoughts and transformations with their followers. Although we initially curated our group of Pup Partners, many of them have taken the initiative to strengthen the community by organising extra content challenges and meet-ups with each other. This sense of community is key to improving customer loyalty & helping us reach more and more dog owners across the country.?

Last weekend, we gathered a group of Pup Partners and local customers to join us on our first Walk & Talk event. We wanted to create a community-focused event to unite like-minded dog owners, and a group dog walk was the perfect way to do it. Why? 1)????????We understand how difficult it can be to meet new people as an adult, and sometimes all it takes is an organised event to push people out of their comfort zones and get talking. 2)????????As the weather gets more miserable, we wanted to create a way for dog owners to enjoy their walks just as much as their pups do! What better way to enjoy a dog walk than with great company and a free coffee? Of course, the four-legged attendees enjoyed some of our delicious treats too. We were blown away by the interest in our first Walk & Talk event and are already planning our next one. It was a fantastic start to the next jam-packed year of events! A moment for our brilliant team ?? This September, we brought our entire team together for our bi-annual Team Day. It was a great opportunity for team members from every department, both on-site and remote, to reflect on our achievements and growth over the past six months. We celebrated some fantastic successes and promotions within our teams and discussed our exciting plans for the future. Of course, we also had some team-building games and presented some fun, not-so-serious awards. (What Team Day would be complete without some slightly awkward team-building activities?) With our team growing, these Team Days are more important than ever. They allow everyone to touch base and remind ourselves of our mission: To change dogs’ lives with real food. There are exciting times ahead for our brilliant team, and we can’t wait to find out what future plans we’ll be talking about at our next Team Day!

The new year has brought with it a new addition to our ever-growing product range. Introducing Different Move, a daily natural food supplement formulated to promote healthy joints and muscles while maintaining a dog’s mobility long-term. This year, we are dedicated to "Spreading Christmas Cheer" in our kitchen, social media platforms, and throughout our local community. One of our quests as Christmas elves was to deliver nearly 80 Christmas dinners to the four-legged residents at Grinshill Animal Rescue and Hilbrae Kennels. We also handed out bags of treats containing our delicious Original Snacks, which were met with lots of waggy tails!?? ? There are many rescue dog owners within our team, so it is safe to say we are passionate about rescue and understand how important the work of the rescue staff and their volunteers is. It was such an honour to bring some joy and happiness to the animals who are still searching for their forever homes.? ?
