Happy Employee Ownership Month everyone! As a 100% employee-owned firm we love spending October celebrating our staff and everything that we have accomplished over the past year. To kick off the month we are celebrating that another employee became fully-vested in the stock ownership program this year! Shelby Parrish joined Dietz & Company in 2018 while pursuing her dual Masters in Architecture and Historic Preservation at the University of Massachusetts and is now in the role of Architectural Staff and an invaluable member of our team. Dietz & Company Architects continues to grow and we are very happy to announce that we have added Architectural Staff members Daniel Naylor and Claire Greene to our team! Daniel holds both a Master and Bachelor of Architecture from Wentworth Institute of Technology and comes to us with over ten years of experience working for architecture firms in Massachusetts and New York on multifamily, K-12, and higher education projects. Claire holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Economics from Vanderbilt University. Most recently Claire worked for an architecture firm in Brooklyn, New York with a focus on residential projects. While completing her Master’s degree, she interned at firms in Massachusetts and Texas. Welcome to Dietz Claire and Daniel!

Today was the eagerly anticipated ribbon cutting for the Richard E. Neal Cybersecurity Center of Excellence! This exciting project brings a collaborative regional security operations hub and an education and training center together in one cutting-edge facility. We are so proud to have been part of this project located in the same building that the Dietz & Company main office calls home, Union Station, Springfield MA . We love seeing and being a part of the continued growth of our community and city!

Dietz & Company is very happy to announce that Noel Aguilar Castillo and Shreya Sanghvi, Assoc. AIA have joined our team! Noel joins us in the role of Project Manager and comes to us having spent his career thus far working for architecture firms in Texas and most recently in design and construction for retail store development. He also has many years of experience working on the construction side of the industry. Shreya is an Architectural Associate and recently graduated from the New York Institute of Technology with her Master of Architecture where she completed her thesis focusing on design strategies to overcome the disconnection of a complex Brazilian neighborhood while also creating a sustainable environment. She also has experience working for architecture firms in India. Welcome Noel and Shreya!

We are very pleased to announce that Dani Garber-Letitia, AIA, MCPPO has been promoted to Senior Architect! Dani joined the firm in 2021 and has been an invaluable member of our team in managing our Cambridge office, serving as a mentor to junior staff, building client relationships, and managing multi-family housing projects for some of our biggest clients. Along with that, she organizes in-house trainings and she is currently pursuing additional education to become a Certified Passive House Consultant! We are so happy to have Dani as part of the Dietz team and look forward to seeing what she accomplishes in this next stage of her career! Yesterday we celebrated Dietz & Company Principal Kevin Riordon AIA in honor of his 20th anniversary with the firm! Over the years, Kevin has worked on a wide variety of projects and been a teacher and mentor to those he has worked with. We are so glad to have Kevin as part of our leadership team and that we got to celebrate this awesome milestone with him! As part of the celebration, Kevin treated us to a small display of some of his original tools of the trade and sketches from his early architecture years. Technology has certainly come a long way! Today we celebrated an exciting milestone for Senior Architect Kyle Young - 10 years with Dietz & Company Architects! Kyle joined the firm upon graduation from UMass with his Master of Architecture and has since grown into a leader and vital part of our team. He is now a Senior Architect and leads our AXP program to help other staff achieve architectural licensure. We are so lucky to have Kyle on the Dietz team and we can't wait to see what he accomplishes in the next 10 years! #10years #employeeowned #career #workanniversary
