18 Feb 2025 - DTC Re-authorized as a C3PAO DTC is pleased to announce that we have officially been re-authorized as a Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Third-Party Assessment Organization (C3PAO). This designation reaffirms DTC ’s commitment to supporting the defense industrial base (DIB) in achieving compliance with evolving cybersecurity requirements under the Department of Defense’s (DoD) CMMC program. DTC’s re-authorization follows regulatory updates stemming from 32 CFR, which affected the status of previously authorized C3PAOs. Under these changes, all organizations were required to undergo a reassessment process to ensure alignment with the latest federal cybersecurity compliance and oversight standards. The re-authorization confirms that DTC meets the rigorous qualifications set forth by the CMMC Accreditation Body (Cyber AB) and the DoD. Additionally, the CMMC program continues to progress through federal rulemaking under 48 CFR, which will formally integrate CMMC requirements into the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS). As this process moves forward, DTC remains committed to assisting defense contractors in understanding and meeting compliance obligations, ensuring the protection of controlled unclassified information (CUI) across the DIB. “This re-authorization validates our deep expertise and ongoing commitment to cybersecurity compliance in the defense sector,” said Justin Kreinbrink, Vice President of Assessment services at DTC. “As a C3PAO, we are fully prepared to support organizations navigating the complexities of CMMC and broader federal cybersecurity mandates.” Contact DTC today to schedule your CMMC Assessment!
