As East Austinites, we are thrilled to be designing this 48,000sf mixed-use mass timber building in the neighborhood we love. #Workbench was envisioned to be a hub for architects, engineers, realtors, and other design professionals, fostering collaboration and creativity right in the heart of East Austin. As owner/occupants, this partnership with other industry professionals is a unique and exciting opportunity and will redefine the way we collaborate. (We can't wait to see it finished!) We want to extend a big thank you to KXAN for sharing the story of #Workbench, and thank you to our amazing partners for helping us make this opportunity a reality! Thank you KXAN and Sarah Al-Shaikh, M.S. for your story highlighting Women Entrepreneurs of East Austin and our new mixed-use development #WORKBENCH! (article linked in comments!) ? Only 3% of commercial real estate worldwide is owned and managed by women. I met?DeLea Becker?and Shawna Sieck in CREW Austin, an organization with a mission of advancing women in #CRE. It is wonderful synchronicity that we are now all equity partners in this new building that will house each of our offices for years to come. We all have deep roots in East Austin. Along with Dick Clark + Associates, Swinerton, and FORT Structures, we are thrilled to continue our commitment to this thriving community. #womenentrepreneurs

We are thrilled to be part of this fabulous design team at The Workbench, a new collaboratively designed and soon-to-be-built and occupied project on E. 7th.? The brainchild of Mark Vornberg of DC+A Architects, this new office space will bring multiple design and construction disciplines together to work next to each other and inspire one another in a big way. Another fact we love about this project is that it has been designed, supported, and will be built by an overall team that is over 60% women-led or women-owned businesses. Commercial Real Estate Brokerage & Managment | Owner / Broker / Investor ~ I Buy Buildings - Watcha Got For me?
A big congratulations to my friend Jennifer Brener Seay and her company Art + Artisans Consulting for the article in the The New York Times! Beautiful project. You can only imagine my anticipation - what amazing artist and piece will she curate to go into our building on East 7th? I know it will be a show-stopper and maybe prompt an article or 2 in a national publication. I know I will enjoy it every day walking by to my offices! Groundbreaking October 2nd - expected to move in January 2025. Swinerton Dick Clark + Associates Legacy Lighting Inc. FORT Structures Beck-Reit Commercial Real Estate, LLC #EastAustin CREW Austin

It's not every day that one of Art + Artisans Consulting's projects is featured in The New York Times! https://lnkd.in/gDUYi8V8 I'm thrilled to see the industry leadership of our clients Ivanhoé Cambridge and Greystar, who are committed to including art as an essential, strategic line item in their development project budget. Check out the article for how we used #art at #SymphonySquare in Austin to connect to the city's music scene, Waller Creek, and the neighborhood's history! Commercial real estate developers who recognize art's value in driving traffic and engagement to their properties benefit by attracting people who want to shop, eat, live and work in an area. #Murals and sculpture have been shown to significantly increase foot traffic (by as much as 43%!) over areas without art. Developers note that budgeting for artwork pays off for many reasons, including differentiating from competitor buildings in the same neighborhood. Kudos to artists Emily Eisenhart and J Muzacz for bringing their nuanced artistic vision to the project, and to Page/ for their exceptional design that provided the perfect 'canvas' for art! #artforcommercialrealestate #artthatconnects #artprogram #artconsultant #commercialrealestate #CRE Charlie Musgrave | Matt Stevenson | Jon deVita | Wendy Dunnam Tita, FAIA, LEED AP Amy Witte, RID, NCIDQ, IIDA
