?? DICE has partnered with EartH (Evolutionary Arts Hackney) to introduce young creatives to the diverse and often overlooked roles within the music industry through their Studio 36 programme! Through this unique programme, we aim to provide young people (ages 16-28) with insight into the wide range of roles that keep the music industry thriving. Last Tuesday, we welcomed 25 enthusiastic young people into the DICE offices for an immersive 2.5-hour session, led by our Head of Music, New Gen & Communities, Ife Awosika alongside our Head of DEI & Community Engagement,?Zo? Collins. Insights were shared on: ?? The role of a platform like DICE in the music industry ??? Our organizational structure and diverse career paths ?? The many roles that help bring live experiences to life ?? A behind-the-scenes tour of our office (which they loved!) In an examination of ticket costs, The Guardian chatted with Phil Hutcheon about the US and UK markets. ?? ??? "Phil Hutcheon, founder and CEO of mobile ticketing company DICE, set his company up in part to help smaller acts and independent venues sell more tickets and understands how perilous the economics are. 'Mid-sized and small concert tickets are actually underpriced for what you get,' he says. 'US tickets are typically 50 to 60% higher than in the UK.'" ??
