As a proud sponsor of Midland Education Foundation's Micro Grants, we had the honor of listening to teacher presentations and handing out awards across the district with other community and business leaders. This month, 16 dedicated teachers received micro grants to address immediate classroom needs, impacting over 4,000 students district-wide.? ? Great work, teachers! Your efforts are truly making a difference.

Through our robotics mentorship program, Diamondback team members offer ongoing support to students, assisting with their robots, portfolio development, and competition presentations. In this video, Blane Wheeless, a senior at Midland High School, shares the impact this program has had on his robotics experience and future career pathway in STEM and the arts. The Rolling Baristas program, a partnership with Midland ISD Special Services, is a weekly highlight here at Diamondback! Throughout the school year, students from Legacy High School and Midland High School visit us to serve coffee and breakfast treats from The Fuel Bar and Black Rifle Coffee Company to our employees. ? This initiative empowers students to develop essential work-ready skills, such as making eye contact, engaging in conversations, building confidence, and mastering teamwork. We’re incredibly proud of the effort they bring to brightening our mornings while serving our team!

Last week, Midland ISD School Board of Trustees recognized a handful of their #PartnersinEducation. Alongside, Atmos Energy, Belloc Energy Services & Transport,?Golf Course Road Church of Christ, and Mission Agape, Diamondback was honored for our ongoing partnership to support the district’s mission. Through our six impactful initiatives, Diamondback employees have contributed over 1,000 volunteer hours annually to schools across Midland. ? Thank you, Midland ISD, for this honor! We look forward to continuing our partnership and having a meaningful impact on student success in our community.
