DPAC seeks to ensure the safety and quality of medications, devices, and services; and access to care for all 37 million Americans with diabetes.

The current 118th Congress was elected on November 8, 2022. The members of the 118th Congress will serve from January 3, 2023, through January 3, 2025. The 119th Congress was elected on November 5, 2024. The members of the 119th Congress will serve from January 3, 2025, until January 3, 2027. A “Lame Duck” session occurs when the current Congress (the 118th in this case) meets after the new Congress has been elected, but before the new Congress (the 119th) begins.
