One thing about me—I love to work!???? I recently celebrated my 1-year work anniversary at Di Luna Candles, and it’s been an incredible journey of growth and creativity. Being able to come in every day, create, manage, and make things happen is what drives me. As a 22-year-old Store Manager, I’ve learned so many valuable lessons, especially working with family. It hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been worth it.???? Through this role, I’ve gained skills in: - Overseeing all candle making and operations with our team - Managing inventory and maintaining stock levels - Training and leading a team, building a positive and productive work environment - Handling customer service, ensuring every customer leaves satisfied - Scheduling and ensuring efficient staff coverage - Managing social media and marketing to boost our presence and sales - Marketing and promotions, helping enhance in-store and online engagement - Problem-solving on the spot and making critical decisions + so much more! Happy to share about our Yelp Elite Event Treat Yourself at Di Luna Candles + Goods. ??”This event was everything I love! Candles, coffee, spices, cards and flowers! Love Love love! I had been wanting to go to Di Luna Candles and it exceeded my expectations. We received such a warm welcome in this special shop. We were introduced to so many scents of candles. This place will be my new go to for gifts! Espressoul Cafe has super delicious drinks; the sample lemonade was so refreshing on such a hot day. The owner of Dash of Delicious was so lovely and I’m so excited to use my sample. I’m so excited for her new business! Green Room Flowers had beautiful bouquets and so it made it challenging to select only one to purchase. I just knew that would make a great gift for my mom! Lastly, Creative Kind has always been simply the coolest. They have the best cards and I was super excited to be able to select a card! They have super groovy stickers too! Today I had the opportunity to speak at a Kiva International meeting where I learned from the Kiva Hubs and Kiva Ecosystem. My family was highlighted in front of the US Kiva leadership including CEO Vishal Ghotge . Kiva is a nonprofit that acts as a micro-lending platform for small businesses all over the world. Thanks to the Kiva team I have opened a Di Luna storefront in Tucson, my mom and sister have been able to expand their jewelry business (JC Jewels), and my dad is opening his first food truck (Se?or Taco)! Each item is thoughtfully chosen to offer a unique and personal touch.

It’s that time again! Join us THIS SUNDAY, April 7th in the heart of this beautiful, creative city for MADE IN TUCSON!! Featuring over 300 ALL LOCAL artists and makers, 12 food trucks, entertain-MinT, and more! Stroll along 7th St (including the @antigonebooks lot) between 4th Ave and 6th Ave, grab a treat in the lot at 5th and 7th, and pop into the Coalition space at 311 E 7th street and meet your favorite local creatives, and discover some new favorites along the way! The market goes from 10am-5pm. Take the streetcar down to 4th Ave and 6th St and skip the need to find parking. See you Sunday, Tucson!!??????
