Last month DHIC President Yolanda Winstead attended a kickoff event for The Sacred/Civic Placemaking Project, led by our faith-based partner, Sympara! This project connects a cohort of six North Carolina churches and one nonprofit, to explore the possibility of building affordable housing on their land. How can they use the land? What would the development process look like?
