A private school for Pre-K through 12th grade students wanted to increase security between the main hallway and classroom area, but there was very little room to work with since the facility was already built, and they did not want to do a large construction project. DH Pace provided a solution to the school that would fit within the existing space and not require heavy construction. A set of hollow metal doors with a transom lite was installed in the main hallway, just before the entrance to the classroom area. This door can be kept locked during the school day to keep intruders from walking into the classrooms. The result is an added layer of security for the school and a greater sense of safety for faculty, staff, and students. This week, we hosted our annual blood drive with American Red Cross of Missouri and we are so grateful for everyone who took part in donating. Because of the 47 donors, including 4 power donors, we collected 35 units of blood and have the potential to save 105 lives. Thank you to our wonderful donors who attended the blood drive event and circulated the love! We're looking forward to our next blood drive at DH Pace Corporate Office in August!

The Fire Door Drop Test (FDDT) program for fire-rated rolling doors, counter doors, shutters, accordion doors, and sliding doors includes a code-mandated inspection that follows testing procedures per NFPA 80.
