The DG Matrix team is back after a whirlwind week at RE+ 2024! With 40,000+ attendees, the conference brought together leaders and innovators across the energy landscape for conversation and collaboration. Here are some of our top takeaways: 1. Electricity demand is growing. A lot. Whether from EVs or AI or building electrification, we're gearing up for massive surges in electricity demand over the next decade. Some estimate this growth will require us to double or even triple our current capacity. 2. We need integrated solutions for electrification. Many electrification solutions today are piecemeal (e.g. separate systems for EV charging, DERs, building electrification, etc.). To achieve electrification that is efficient, scalable, and cost-effective, we need more integrated solutions that take the complexity about of deploying these systems. 3. The "all of the above" mindset will rule! There's no silver bullet. We need all sorts of solutions to the most pressing problems facing this industry--bring on the partnerships! It's been another successful couple days at RE+ for DG Matrix! On Tuesday, CEO Haroon Inam delivered a session on fleet electrification with distributed energy. At the standing-room-only presentation, Haroon spoke about several case studies where we have proven the ability of our Power Router solutions to improve performance while lowering CAPEX and OPEX for fleet EV charging. We ended Day 2 at the conference with dinner with several key project partners as we discussed our plans to accelerate electrification at sites across the country. #electrification #replus2024
