Exciting progress is being made at the Bay Ridge Apartments project in Shelburne, VT! ??? In Building A, we're making great progress with drywall and taping on the 3rd floor, insulation and compartmentalization on the 2nd floor, and MEP rough-ins on the 1st floor. The exterior work, including the rainscreen and siding, is also coming along nicely. Over at Building B, teams are busy with rough framing, masonry work at the elevator shaft, and installing the windows, roof, and MEP rough-ins. The parking garage is also progressing well, with MEP hangers, plumbing rough-ins, and fireproofing set to start on Monday. ?? With a workforce gap exceeding half a million workers, the demand for skilled professionals is higher than ever, and everyone—regardless of gender—has a crucial role to play in meeting this challenge. Over the past decade, the number of women in construction has surged by 45%, and today, women make up 14.5% of the workforce, with more women entering skilled trades roles every year. This growth is essential to combat our industry's labor shortage and brings in additional diverse talent, helping us build a stronger, more innovative workforce.
