Devorto Corporation is building an aerospace vehicle that isn’t just another piecemeal improvement on high-altitude unmanned platform designs, but a totally new architectural approach. This patented approach, called the Tethered Uni-Rotor Network (TURN), delivers the best attributes of both a helicopter (vertical take-off and landing) and airplane (superior lift), all in one platform. TURN will offer persistent, solar-powered flight up to the stratosphere for a myriad of commercial and defense use cases. A recipient of both private and government (NASA, Air Force, and Space Force) funding, Devorto aims to disrupt the traditional LEO satellite and HAPS markets.
