Since 1964, DP has been a vital community resource for individuals with disabilities, now serving over 15,000 people of all ages and their families. This month in DP history: In November 2001, Mill Levy Funding was established in Arapahoe and Douglas Counties through the approval of Referendum 4(a). This initiative proposed allocating a portion of property taxes from each county to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through DP funding. Today, Mill Levy is the largest portion of local funding sources for our critical community supports! DP is hiring Case Managers (CM) to join our Case Management and Systems Navigation departments! Our mission centers on coordinating care for individuals and families navigating disability services. We are dedicated to building, supporting, and collaborating with community resources to effectively address the needs of our community. Do you use Consumer-Directed Attendant Support Services (CDASS) to direct and manage your care? The next due date for Financial Management Services (FMS) open enrollment paperwork is December 1, 2024! FMS open enrollment happens four times per year. During these times, a CDASS program member or their authorized representative can change FMS providers. If a member or authorized representative chooses to change providers, they must inform their Case Manager to start the process before the next paperwork due date.
