Some very cool things are happening at Myna Therapy Services, PLLC in Fargo! On top of offering Speech, OT, and PT in a way that is most convenient for you (in office, at home, at school), they also offer telehealth services to schools across the region, many in places where these kids wouldn't get services without this option. And now, they are expanding services! Myna Therapy is working towards adding a mental health department because as Elaine says, "We have so many kiddos who we see for emotional regulation, and we think it's a natural next step to add counseling to our list of services. We're also hiring for a clinical psychologist so that we are able to do autism testing in-house. Currently in Fargo, there is around a 6 month to 1 year waiting list for autism testing." Being on camera is definitely out of my comfort zone, but one goal this year is to try new things.

Who loves compliance and reporting? Anyone? While compliance and rule following are not my favorite things (I'm a low C for all my DiSC fans), I understand the importance of it and more importantly, the risks if you aren't compliant. Today in our series on Size Matters, Know the Rules we are going to briefly look at EEO Reporting. Specifically, when and what is required. Have less than 100 employees? You likely don't need to file any reports related to EEO. {insert cheers!!} It is important to note though that just because you don't have to report on it, does not mean you don't have to follow federal laws that make it illegal to discriminate based on a person's race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetic information. And while most employers with at least 15 employees are covered by EEOC laws (20 employees in age discrimination cases), I recommend all business follow federal laws relating to discrimination.

There are some laws that apply whether you have 2 or 200 employees. But there are a number of others that depend on the size of your business.
