关于我们
The Google Developer Student Club cohort is targeted towards students who want to learn software development skills, the product lifecycle, and more. Workshops - GDSC leads to organize and facilitate workshops on university campuses to provide students with technical development skills. Cohort Projects - The students get an opportunity to apply their skills for a year long project, from conception to deployment. In addition to developing skills, the students gain problem-solving skills as they understand more about the problem and are developing a solution using technology, along with communication skills as they learn how to ask questions to better understand the problem. Showcases - The students will present their projects in campus and city-level showcases, thus gaining visibility and inspiring more students to learn and apply development skills.

?? Having trouble making a resume to get the job you want? Follow these quick and simple steps to build a resume that makes you stand out from the crowd!??? ???? ?? Name and Contact Info: ? Add your professional contact information??? so that recruiters or company representatives can easily reach out to you. ?? Objective: ? Summarize and cater your objective to represent why you are motivated to pursue the specific role and why you would be a good fit. ?? Education: ? Add your most recent education and the degree gained from this institution???. ? If you haven’t graduated yet, write the expected date you will graduate??? ?and/or receive your respective degree. ? Specify courses that seem to be a good fit for the requirements the job entails???. ?? Experience: ? Your experience is the most important part of your resume. It shows your commitment to a position and proves why you have the skills to meet the requirements of a job. ? Make sure your most recent and/or most profound experience is at the very top to catch the employer’s eye quicker???. ? Adding the specific skills you've gained from the job as well as any achievements presents a strong image to employers???. ?? Projects: ? Adding a projects, references, honors/awards, or hobbies portion to your resume can fill in for a lack of experience and shows your passion towards a specific job or field???. ? This field in your resume makes you stand out as an interviewee from other candidates who might have more experience???. ?? Skills: ? Skills should be catered to the job posting???. ? A helpful tip is to write down the specific skills that you have and are required for the job because interviewers use that as a filter for the influx of resumes coming in???. ?? Similar to how you should organize your experience, if you received awards for your work or want to showcase a specific skill, prioritize them by putting them higher on your resume???. SO grateful to have you as a speaker at DevFest!
?? Excited to share my experience from the recent Google Developer Student Club, UC Davis DevFest! ?? Last weekend, I had the honor of speaking about the founding and early days of GDSC and witnessing firsthand how much it has grown over the past 5 years. It was truly inspiring to see all the GDSC leads over the years together under one roof for the first time since we started this journey ( in order holding balloons from right to left, Adityaa Ravi Prashansa Goel Shyam Agarwal ) The event was filled with incredible insights from renowned industry and academic speakers, making it a hub of innovation and learning. I had some fantastic conversations and walked away with new ideas and perspectives. A HUGE shoutout to the current GDSC team at University of California, Davis for their incredible effort in organizing this phenomenal event! Your hard work and dedication made this gathering an unforgettable experience for everyone involved. ?? Special thanks to everyone who attended and made this event unforgettable. Make sure to keep an eye out for https://devfestdavis.com to be the first to know about next year’s event. Looking forward to many more such events and continuing our journey of learning and growth together! #GDSC #DevFest #GoogleDevelopers #TechCommunity #Innovation #Networking #Growth #ucdavis
