Members from the Michigan Defense and Aerospace Caucus, along with members from the Detroit Regional Chamber, Civilian Aides to the Secretary of the Army, and the Macomb County Commissioner toured some of our labs this week and talked with subject matter experts and leaders about ways to boost economic development in Michigan and how to attract both civilian and military talent to the state. GVSC’s mission requires expertise across a broad spectrum of disciplines, often disciplines that are difficult to acquire.?Our goal is to establish a pipeline of hard-to-find talent, especially in software engineering and electrical engineering, making acquiring this talent easier and faster in the long run.
