I had the opportunity to meet Michigan’s Lieutenant Governor Garlin Gilchrist II this past Friday at Detroit Moves. We got to talking about our home, Detroit, innovative technology and opportunities, and what HAAS Alert can bring to the table. I left the conversation feeling awestruck. I felt proud of the leader we have as Michiganders, and how humble and down to earth the Lieutenant was! I look forward to future partnerships with our hometown, Lieutenant. The demo to the Lieutenant was at Newlab Michigan Central ! ??: Jeremy Agulnek, Garlin Gilchrist II Photo credit: jayson pankin

Fresh from the Detroit Moves Forum, I've come away inspired. Detroit is home to many innovative mobility solutions, partnerships & leaders that we can learn from. Sharing my takeaways in hopes of sparking cross-border & regional discussion and collaboration. Windsor Moves?

Dana L. Williams asked our panel a great question last week - here's my reply. Thank you Detroit Moves & MICHauto for the platform to address the urgent need for alternate career pathways. Let's keep education moving. #youngentrepreneurs #detroitmobility

I've been laying low as I catch up and rest after a successful 2024 Detroit Moves Forum. I'm so proud of our small and mighty team as we hosted more than 150 attendees and over 30 speakers which included City of Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan and State of Michigan Lt. Governor Garlin Gilchrist II. Over the course of the day, we talked about public transit, non-motor vehicle transport, smart city design, workforce opportunities, and community impact. If you were there, I'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback on your experience! On behalf of the entire Detroit Moves team—Vittoria Valenti-Amodeo, Janine Ward Robar, Corinne F. Roskopp, MPA, CMP, SEPC, and myself—we'd like to thank our sponsors, the speakers, and everyone attended for making the fifth year of Detroit Moves a success!
