Prefer life in the fast lane? Join the Detroit Grand Prix Association (DGPA) as a volunteer at Detroit’s Fastest Weekend of the summer. The Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix presented by Lear is back on the streets of Downtown Detroit and looking for more volunteers than ever before. Volunteers assist in almost every area of producing the race from helping at information booths, providing directions, helping at traffic crossings, scanning tickets, and manning the grandstands, and so much more! There is a $20 membership fee to join the DGPA; however, that $20 fee is returned to members through the various benefits that come with joining the organization. We offer year-round social events (holiday parties, pre-race Kick-Off, and an Appreciation Party), as well as exclusive discounts and merchandise. The Detroit Grand Prix provides volunteers with a tee shirt for each day worked, a ball cap, credentials, light breakfast, lunch, and downtown parking at the venue.
