DETECTO's Terry Sims (right) along with MedPro's Bryan Kline and Erik Gustafson met with one of the premier IDN's in Florida who was impressed with DETECTO's new NTEP medical scales initiative. DETECTO is partnering with The Leapfrog Group on the initiative and the IDN was proudly touting their A Leapfrog patient safety rating. Terry, Bryan, and Erik visited with the biomed dept and supply chain staff to discuss NTEP, NICU safety, and medical carts for Pediatrics and the ICU. They are in the process of switching some older scales to the new DETECTO 6745 baby scale in their facility. DETECTO’s Rescue series pediatric carts come in 9 multi-colored drawers using the Broselow? color-coding method and have 5-inch diameter wheels which feature two parking locks and one steering lock (model no. RC333333336PED). When seconds count, the color-coded drawers enable doctors and clinicians to quickly identify critical supplies while responding to pediatric emergencies.
