In February, I sat down and talked to Jack TerHaar about Detail Dawgs, a car detailing service he began in Athens, Ga. Congratulations to Jack TerHaar and Detail Dawgs, TerHaar’s car detailing business, on a first place finish in the UGA Entrepreneurship Program’s third annual Venture Prize Competition. TerHaar, who studies real estate and finance at the Terry College of Business, walked away with the $10,000 first prize.?In addition, judges awarded a $5,000 second-place prize to Sisterhood of the Traveling 20s, a peer-led group travel service founded by journalism major Kelsie Pearson, and a $2,500 third-place prize to recent MIS alumnus Matthew Tesvich’s odorless sock company,?OX SOX. https://lnkd.in/ewc5tuXz

Highly honored to be featured in Voyage ATL! ?? Building Detail Dawgs hasn't happened without a TREMENDOUS support system around me. I can't recommend UGA Entrepreneurship enough. It's been an extremely challenging but rewarding ride up to this point. There's a long way to go, and my goals are set high for this coming year! My advice to both my future self and anyone reading this post - just go for it.
