The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in psychiatric care and will have a proven record of strong customer service. A successful candidate will work directly with patients to assess mental health issues, create treatment plans and track progress of recovery. Responsibilities: Maintain a safe environment for all those in the hospital. Communicate with other healthcare professionals and medical staff. Communicate with doctors and medical staff to ensure quality of medical care. Perform diagnostic procedures and analyses. Provide care to patients in the hospital setting. Be in charge of patients, meds, and/or treatments. Perform treatments as instructed by doctors.

A minimum of two years of group facilitation & training experience required. BSN required, Master’s Degree preferred. Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card BLS Certified Instructor Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Certified Instructor Specialty training in Infection Prevention and Control through accredited continuing education. Must have completed a course on Infection Prevention and Control by APIC (Association for Professional in Infection Control and Epidemiology) or within 6 months of employment. Five years of behavioral health experience in an inpatient hospital preferred.
