They experienced a glass cutting demonstration and shopping with Hawkes Crystal, dined at the historical and delicious Pioneer Mill of Tiffin, an interactive shopping experience at Ralph's Joy of Living, enjoyed the rich history of the Tiffin Glass Collectors Club & Museum, and a behind the scenes tour of The Ritz Theatre. ?? A Touch of Green at the Tiffin Glass Collectors Club & Museum! ?? Since January, volunteers have been hard at work cleaning, inventorying 704 pieces, and refreshing displays—just in time for St. Patrick’s Day! If you haven’t visited recently, now’s the perfect time to stop in and explore. The Tiffin Glass Museum celebrates the artistry of Tiffin’s glassmakers, preserving a legacy that began in 1889 with A.J. Beatty & Sons and continued through the Tiffin Glass Company’s final production in 1980. With over 1,000 pieces on display, the museum tells the story of a century of craftsmanship. Open Wednesday through Saturday, Noon to 4 PM—come discover Tiffin’s rich glass heritage and check out their stunning green glass display!

It's time to Pound Out Cancer! FACT, Financial Assistance for Cancer Treatment is hosting the 3rd Annual Pound Out Cancer fundraiser on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 11am to 3pm at Tiffin University’s Marion Center. What you can look forward to: ??Pound Rockout Workout (12:30 PM - 1:30 PM) – A high-energy workout that can be done standing or sitting, designed for all bodies and abilities. ??Silent Auction – Opens at 11 AM, bidding closes at 2:15 PM, and winners are announced at 2:30 PM. ??50/50 Drawing – A chance to win while supporting a great cause! All proceeds support FACT, a nonprofit that provides financial assistance to Seneca County cancer patients. Experience the sweetness of tradition at Snavely's Sugar Shack's 2025 Maple Fest! Head to Snavely's Sugar Shack on Sunday, March 9th, from 10am to 2pm for a fun-filled day celebrating all things maple syrup. The first Maple Fest was held in 1993 and was a small gathering that welcomed about 300 visitors. It has grown to become a community favorite with close to 800 attendees, thanks to the hard work of family, friends, and the local community. Kick off your visit with a delicious all-you-can-eat breakfast followed by a free hayride to the Sugar Camp, where you'll learn about the fascinating process of making maple syrup. Maple products will be available for purchase at the event so you can take some sweet tradition home! The cost for breakfast is $13 for adults, $8 for children ages 5-11, and free for children 4 and under.
