We were thrilled to welcome the lucky winners of the Canoecopia Hotel Indigo hotel stay to our beautiful city last week! These Midwestern adventurers stopped by the Destination Panama City Visitor Center to learn about all the places they could explore while they were in town. We encouraged them to immerse themselves in our vibrant local culture, explore Panama City's stunning waterfronts, and enjoy a variety of outdoor adventures from kayaking and fishing to soaking up the sunshine and fresh air on one of our unique trails. Check out this recent WMBB-TV news coverage that featured our firm’s partnership with Destination Panama City on an environmental sustainability project in Panama City, Florida. This project, the Living Shoreline, aims to boost the overall health of St. Andrew’s Bay’s ecosystem, by installing reef ball models near the sea wall that will bring back marine life and replenish the balance of the ecosystem. Our team kicked off the project by providing seagrass surveying in the bay, which was completed ahead of October 1, a crucial deadline as seagrass surveying can only be conducted during certain times of the year. To support the snorkel-enabled seagrass study, our health, safety, and environment team created a plan to prioritize our employees’ safety. We're incredibly proud to share that we successfully delivered much-needed supplies to those impacted by Hurricane Helene with the help of the Mexico Beach Community Development Council. Today our team had the privilege to attend the Red Carpet Groundbreaking to commemorate the beginning of the Martin Theatre Development. The fully immersive event featured a dapper theme while celebrating the future of the Martin Theatre, Tennessee House and The Ritz. Many downtown businesses joined in on the celebration honoring the Martin Theatre Development by offering "red carpet" deals and features for the night of the event. In addition to the theater renovations, the expansion will include a beautiful lounge area and event space.
