Two annexes were identified at a property in the Southeast of England by our NEXUS team and both were missing from the council tax banding list. Reported in March 2024, both annexes have now been added to the banding list as a band B and band C. The main property has also been re-assessed, and banding has increased from a G to H. We are delighted to appear in this months edition of IRRV Insight talking about our award winning partnership with Wilks Head & Eve LLP (WHE). Formed five years ago the partnership provides WHE clients with access to the outputs of NEXUS, a solution that identifies domestic and commercial properties not currently liable for tax. Feedback from the judges noted that "The partnership emphasised their goal of increasing revenue for local government. They were able to combine local government, financial and surveying knowledge, which gave them a unique insight into their work. A big welcome to our new NEXUS clients who have just signed up to our missing property identification service. Outlined below is an example of the type of properties we are finding that are flying under the radar. NEXUS identified this little barn in the rear garden of a family home in the Southeast of England which is being used as a holiday let and was not rated.
