Throughout the last 1,5 years we have been working on the implementation of our Next Generation Battery Pack in the Revolution. We have shown its charging capabilities before, but we were yet to show its discharging potential. At the end of 2024 we did this by testing the Revolution on a Dyno! By testing and showcasing the Revolution being powered by the NGBP on a Dyno, we have shown the ability of our self-developed battery pack, using high performance DESTEN Inc. cells, to discharge and power our electric motors in an ‘on-track’ setting.? The video was presented today at our Partner event and highlights the different steps throughout the process of reaching this important milestone. We are thrilled to share our progress of the past months through this video and are excited to take you with us, on the journey that lies ahead!???

18 months ago, DESTEN Inc. penned a partnership agreement with InMotion to supply our cell technology for their 'Next Generation Battery Pack' in the LMP3 Le Mans Racer. InMotion sought to access ultra-fast charging, high power density, strong chemical and temperature stability, and longevity. We ultimately settled on providing our 20Ah, 10C charge, 20C discharging cell, which, after extensive testing, demonstrated sub-4 minute charging while providing up to 800eHP at the pack level. After many months of hard work from the InMotion team, we are on the cusp of bringing the world's fastest-charging EV to the racetrack. Recent dyno testing has yielded fantastic results. Ultra-fast charging was once a pipedream; DESTEN Inc. and InMotion are now demonstrating that EVs not only achieve price parity but also enhance the driving experience. #DESTEN #InMotion #EV #Innovation

?????? ?????????????????? ?????????????????? ??????????????????????! ?? In the past year we have been working on the implementation of our Next Generation Battery Pack within the Revolution. Implementing this in our race car rendered some challenges due to the demanding conditions and safety requirements involved in the process. Last year's team was able to overcome many of these challenges before transferring the project to the new team. Within the past three months, the current team has been able to finalise this implementation and successfully integrated the NGBP. The hard work of the entire InMotion team resulted in achieving a big technical milestone. Our self-developed battery pack, consisting of high performance cells made by DESTEN Inc. and our innovative cell-level cooling technology, was able to power the wheels of the Revolution!? Man, what a BATTERY SHOW is all i can say. Lots of amazing innovations happening in the battery and electric vehicle technology space. Was amazing connecting with innovative thinkers, shakers and movers in the industry. From unique enclosures for batteries to better thermal management and manufacturing equipment and processes, one thing that I did notice was (on the battery cell side of things), there’s much more innovation needed to get us to the next level of customer experience when comparing it to todays ICE vehicle experience in range and charge times when recharging our batteries. WE HAVE THE MINDS NOW LETS EXECUTE THE VISION! Big shout out to the amazing people I reconnected with and also met for the first time. From talking mineral and material supply chain with the McKinsey Master Ken Hoffman, CFA to speaking on megawatt connectors/handles & charging systems with John Risso EIT & Dylan Butcher, innovative battery technology with Huda Almashhadany, battery packs and cell systems with John Kapcoe & Alexander Z?pfel, charging and infrastructure development and truck as a service (and mobile megawatt charging)with the megawatt man Victor Atlasman, top level EV talent recruiting with the master Raymond McSpirit and numerous others in the industry that I’ve been connected to for so long on linkedin but finally got to meet in person. Also connected with the super connected Lauren Allanson CertRP MREC from Strativ/Volta Foundation who’s changing lives and making waves! Was able to catch up with an old college friend Matt Gleixner who’s doing some great things for Saint Gobain abrasives! Big shoutout to Jill Pestana for starting her own battery and EV technology consulting firm and if you don’t know Jill you should in this industry because she is an all around EV technology expert who will help any group elevate their business and solutions! And can’t forget Bjoern Stoll from Digatron who I can’t wait to collaborate with and also watch his company continue to skyrocket in the industry. Time flies but was amazing seeing all these people amongst many others at the battery expo in Detroit. If I’ll say one final thing it’s this. North America is ripe for manufacturing and innovation/disruption in the EV space. We control our destiny and it’s up to all of to “Make it Make Sense” when moving forward in business partnerships and development of our ecosystem. We all have amazing insights and solutions to offer to make this continent an energy powerhouse. DESTEN is excited to be part of this North American ecosystem with our innovative approach to high cycle, high C rate battery technology and we’ve got some amazing things and in the works coming to North America. ??
