We’re officially underway on the Dadeland North Metrorail Garage project! Running through summer 2028, this initiative will focus on restoration and Parksmart certification, bringing together expertise from our Virginia and Florida offices. The team hit the ground running with two long, intense days of surveying, laying the groundwork for what’s ahead. Celebrating Tom Basile: 45 Years of Excellence at DESMAN Last night, we had the honor of celebrating Tom Basile as he retires after 45 years with DESMAN, where he built an extraordinary career and lasting legacy. Tom has been an integral part of our New York office, shaping the design and architecture of over 300 parking structures across the country. As a Registered Architect (RA) in over 15 states, his expertise has left an indelible mark on the built environment, contributing to cities, institutions, and communities nationwide. More than just a colleague, Tom has been a mentor, a friend, and a driving force behind DESMAN’s success. While we will miss his presence in the office, his impact will continue to be felt for years to come. Tom, we thank you for everything—your dedication, your craftsmanship, and the countless contributions you’ve made to DESMAN and beyond. We wish you all the best in this well-earned next chapter! ??
