ENERGY DISTRIBUTION | SHUTTLE TABLE AUTOMATION Automated production systems are increasingly being used to manufacture high-voltage cable joints. The DESMA 968 series offers a shuttle table option that allows the moveable heating platen and lower half of the mold to be slid outside the mold carrier for easier demolding and loading operations. To continue our story of DESMA history: 1966 & 1967 - shoe mold making is on an 'upward trend,' the workforce has grown to 50 employees, and the production hall has expanded, earlier than planned, to 1,500 square meters. Initially, the DESMA plant in Achim was supplied with prefabricated parts and shoe-molded components. Design Manager E. As DESMA celebrates its 60th anniversary, we would like to walk you through our company history. From our single building start in 1965 to our global presence today, we have many stories to tell! 1965 - After successful site selection and seven months of construction, Maschinenfabrik Fridingen (MAF) starts production in the 200 square meter factory hall in Fridingen an der Donau in January. Last week, the DESMA team welcomed Michael Zaun, the Managing Director of Klockner DESMA GmbH, to our Hebron facility. It's incredible what the right people can accomplish together!  The team spent time reviewing 2024 and working on the roadmap for 2025.
