As the outcome of ratifying the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA), which was approved by the House in 1971 and the Senate in 1972, is pending it seems appropriate to discuss our Gender Pay Gap. First, level-set: I am raising two young men. I do not want anything less for men, I want equality for humans. Payscale is an amazing resource to learn and utilize tools to drive equality. In the 2024 report, the root of my career firmly sits at 12. That means if you are a female claim adjuster, examiner, investigator - your career has the 12th broadest pay disparity gap in the United States. Male Pay: $65,300 Female Pay: $59,700 Is it possible...some of you just thought, that's not that bad. It's a 9% gap. If our male adjuster receives a 3% increase and our female adjuster receives a 2% increase for the span of their career, the total difference is: $1,398,894.96 Ladies, you don't need an extra $1.4M + interest earned as you retire from Claims right? #iwillclosethegap #equality #femaleceo #femalefounder #adjustersrock #Billionsonthetable #whocares #doyou #GROW
