Another year, another incredible event! The 2025 Desert Financial Foundation Charity Golf Tournament raised $680,000 in support of the 1 Darn Cool School at Phoenix Children's! With a total of 217 participants, including golfers and dedicated volunteers, we came together at Talking Stick Golf Club to fund education for young patients, helping them continue learning while they heal. A huge thank you to everyone who participated, donated and made this event a success!

This International Women's Day, we want to take a moment to highlight an incredible woman who helped shape the landscape of credit unions as we know them today: Louise McCarren Herring, also known as the "Mother of Credit Unions." A true pioneer in financial services, Louise believed that credit unions should serve people, not profit. Her efforts led to the creation of more than 500 credit unions, giving countless individuals and families access to fair financial opportunities. In 1934, Louise served as a delegate at the historic Estes Park Conference, where the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) was established. Nearly a century later, CUNA continues to advocate for and educate on the credit union movement. Thank you, Louise, for paving the way for generations to come and inspiring the "people helping people" philosophy that guides us today.
