Desert Angels

Founded in 2000, the Desert Angels is a Tucson-based organization of accredited investors seeking opportunities to invest in regional startups and early-stage companies. We represent a network of over 100 active angel investors, who have since invested $65 million into 165+ portfolio companies and 10 Sidecar funds. The Desert Angels have consistently been recognized as one of the most active angel groups in the country and, since 2019 has been ranked #1 in the southwest and #8 in the country according to the 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 & 2023 ARI HALO report. The Desert Angels is a charter member of the Angel Capital Association ("ACA"), the trade association of angel investment groups in North America and today represents over 240 angel investor groups and funds. The Desert Angels is also a founding member of the Angel Syndication Network ("ASN"), a network of angel groups actively collaborating for deal syndication. Desert Angels is also a member of the international Keiretsu Syndication Forum.
