The Federal Communications Commission's adoption of final spectrum rules for C-V2X technology in the 5.9 GHz band is a pivotal milestone for road safety and connectivity. As a leader in V2X technology with numerous deployments across the U.S. and globally, Derq is committed to working with our partners and delivering cutting-edge solutions to advance this transformative vision. #V2X #CV2X #AI #RoadSafety #VRUSafety #ConnectedInfrastructure #ConnectedVehicles Intelligent Transportation Society of America U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration
We've adopted final spectrum rules for auto safety to support cellular-vehicle-to-everything (C-V2X) tech in the 5.9 GHz band. We're dedicating space for vehicle sensors to communicate with others using the road. C-V2X technology provides direct communications between vehicles, roadside infrastructure, and other road users such as cyclists, pedestrians, and road workers to facilitate, among other things, non-line-of-sight awareness, notice of changing driving conditions, and automated driving. More communication = more safety.
