"Emily hired me when I was right out of college. I had no experience, but Emily took a chance on me, saying she was impressed by my writing skills. It was the height of the economic recession, and I was grateful to have a job. Being around Emily and her deep knowledge of the manufacturing industry was humbling! Even though I was anxious and unsure of my experience, Emily believed in me. And when Emily believed in you, you had no choice but to believe in yourself. I was often the youngest person in the room, but Emily always asked for my opinion and made me feel like my ideas mattered. She had an incredible ability to get the best out of people, teaching me the value of never giving up and working hard for things that matter. Ultimately, it was people who mattered most to Emily."
