Dependable Data Driven Discovery NRT (D4)

The D4 National Research Traineeship at Iowa State University is an interdisciplinary program focused on dependable and trustworthy data science. Open to graduate and concurrent BS/MS students, this three-semester program emphasizes two core research objectives: 1. Identifying risks and measures of dependability in data science lifecycles. 2: Developing new methods and tools to mitigate these risks. The training spans multiple disciplines, including Biological and Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Math, Statistics, and Biology. The program combines coursework, research, seminars, boot camps, and industry engagement. Fellowship opportunities are available, with a special focus on supporting underrepresented groups in STEM, including women and minority students.
