Big congratulations to Mrinalini Mulukutla for winning the Best Poster Award at the REWAS 2025 Conference on the Circular Economy for the Energy Transition! Her award-winning poster builds on her earlier work exploring supply-chain risk-aware Bayesian alloy design — a critical topic focusing on more sustainable and resilient materials solutions. Proud to see this kind of forward-thinking research being recognized on a global stage. And the original paper here: https://lnkd.in/gF6x9fTU
I am really proud as my student,?Mrinalini Mulukutla,?got the "Best Poster Award" at the REWAS 2025 Conference on the Circular Economy for the Energy Transition, https://lnkd.in/gMEPga3h. Her poster was based on her earlier paper on supply-chain risk-aware Bayesian alloy design, https://lnkd.in/gF6x9fTU. Materials innovation is critical for technological advancement, yet traditional materials design often neglects the risks inherent in supply chains, leading to unsustainable solutions. Her work addresses this gap by integrating supply-chain risk assessment into alloy design through predictive modeling and Batch Bayesian Optimization (BBO). Demonstrated with the MoNbTiVW alloy system, our approach efficiently identifies high-performance alloys with minimized supply risks, promoting sustainability and economic viability in materials development. Congrats, Mrinalini Mulukutla!!!
