?? New U.S. Surgeon General's Report Highlights Critical Path to Health Equity in Tobacco Control Honored to share that our Institute for Global Tobacco Control contributed to this landmark U.S. Surgeon General's report on tobacco-related health disparities. Dr. Ryan David Kennedy served as senior scientific editor while Dr. Joanna Cohen provided expert review - both faculty members at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health's Department of Health, Behavior and Society. Key findings reveal persistent tobacco industry targeting of neighborhoods with greater percentages of Black and Hispanic people, and residents with lower incomes, and outline evidence-based strategies to eliminate tobacco-related health inequities. https://bit.ly/48Zjwou
