25 presentations!! Woot! CMP had an impressive presence at the annual conference of the Association of Collegiate Schools of Planning - ACSP this November. Our students and faculty presented on a wide range of topics, including planning for inclusive housing, transit development and transportation planning, resilient aging, climate adaptation and disaster resilience, planning for immigrant populations, community-based economic development, and indigenous planning. Time for your weekly MCMP highlight! Meet Emma Glende, first year MCMP grad. Emma's favorite planning topics? My favorite planning topics are walkability and making a beautiful city through classical urban planning principles! Any current projects or research? For my Professional Project, I’m working with Sugar House Park to improve access and safety for pedestrians, cyclists, and transit riders. I love spending time in Sugar House Park and am excited to be able to help people have an even better experience in a place so many people already know and love. Fun Fact about Emma! I love running and recently finished my first 50K! [Editor Note: ????] I’m currently training for the St. George marathon in October.

Dorsa's favorite planning topics include active transportation and public transit. 2. She is currently working on a project that explores the SR-32 corridor in Utah and a local city center plan. 3. Dorsa enjoys outdoor activities, painting and getting to know different cultures!
