We were saddened to hear of Brian Vogt’s passing. As CEO of Denver Botanic Gardens for nearly two decades, Brian helped shape one of Colorado’s most iconic institutions — and in doing so, left a lasting impact on our state. Brian was a thoughtful leader, a dedicated public servant, and a steady partner to the business community. He believed in building things that last — from beautiful spaces to strong relationships. We’re grateful for the role he played in making Colorado a better place to live and work.

Colorado has lost a visionary leader and a true champion of collaboration. Tom Clark, fondly known as the “Godfather of Regionalism,” shaped the economic landscape of Metro Denver and left an indelible mark on our state. From securing Major League Baseball to helping develop Denver International Airport, Tom’s legacy is one of transformative milestones, partnerships, and shared success. His philosophy— “It’s not about who gets credit, it’s about getting it done”—continues to inspire us all. Thank you, Tom, for your vision, leadership, and warmth.
