During the lift-off process after indium bump deposition (IBD), indium not deposited properly could be unintentionally removed. In order to rectify this, including pre-cleaning before IBD can greatly improve adhesion and lead to much better lift-off. Read about the process and learn more here: https://hubs.ly/Q037Q0r40

Denton Vacuum was the first choice for a leading Asian #lasermanufacturer when they needed a more complex system. While most systems meet the basic requirements, Denton's Infinity #IBD system produces the densest, shift-free, and lowest contamination optical film possible using #PVD. The #CHIPSAct is facing possible issues with the President's threat to cancel the act and alter federal government #contracts and #tariffs. A professor at Columbia Law states that these tariffs will raise the costs for businesses and households across the board. What makes Biased Target Sputtering (BTS) the better choice for certain applications? BTS takes a unique approach to sputtering by generating low-energy ions below the sputter threshold while a negative voltage is applied to a target. Unlike standard Ion Beam Sputtering (IBS), this ensures sputtering from the target only and creates dense, pure, defect-free films.
