It was great to see nearly 700 leaders sharing the same enthusiasm and commitment to driving progress in areas that make our state strong and unique. We are excited to keep working with our partners to amplify and drive initiatives that will continue to promote the entrepreneurial spirit that has earned us global recognition and moved our region’s economy forward.

Denterlein sees mentorship as a two-way road for growth, and we’re proud to have partners who recognize the potential in others while offering their own insights. Thanks to the Boston Business Journal for hosting #MentoringMonday, an event that brought together inspiring women, including our partners Katherine F. Abbott, Jenny Holaday, Kate Dineen, and Eneida Roman, as well as our President Diana C. Pisciotta. These events create a unique space for empowerment and connection that result in lasting career impact, leadership development, and stronger professional networks.

If there's ever been a time to ensure the safety and rights of LGBTQ+ youth, it's now. That's why I'm excited to join the Massachusetts Commission on LGBTQ Youth for the 2025-26 cycle. At a time when LGBTQ+ public health resources and information are being stripped away at the federal level, I look forward to working with the coalition, leaders, and advocates and doing all that is possible to advise on policy and resources that ensure LGBTQ+ youth in Massachusetts have what they need to thrive, belong, and be. As someone who didn’t have access to many LGBTQ+ resources growing up, I know how difficult it can be to navigate these issues on your own. That’s why this work feels so important—ensuring today’s and future generations of LGBTQ+ youth have the support and resources they deserve, especially at a time when much progress is being challenged.
