The grand opening was on Veterans Day, and Veteran guests were treated to a free Original Grand Slam as a thank you for their service. In the wake of Hurricanes Milton and Helene, Denny’s Mobile Relief Diner served nearly 30,000 hot meals to our neighbors in Tampa, Asheville, and Spartanburg. Our team, along with incredible volunteers, came together to provide comfort, care and a bit of normalcy to those impacted. The Mobile Relief Diner (MRD) is headed to the City of Tampa to support?the community recovering from Hurricane Milton. In partnership with Lowe's Companies, Inc., the diner-on-wheels will be stationed at the Lowe’s Home Improvement (6275 W. Waters Ave, Tampa, FL 33634), serving warm meals to Floridians affected by the storm. Volunteers will be on-site beginning tomorrow, Wednesday, Oct. 16, through Sunday, Oct. 20, offering meals daily from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thank you to those who have given their time to help make this relief effort possible.
