Over the last few weeks, Democracy Works team members were on the road connecting with election administrators at two key conferences, reinforcing our commitment to our partnerships with election officials to provide voters with reliable election information. At the National Association of State Election Directors (NASED) Winter Conference in DC, we learned about best practices in election incident response coordination and emerging trends like mobile state IDs for voter identification. These connections are crucial for our ability to distribute accurate information to voters, especially during emergencies. Last week, our VP of Partnerships & Data Brandon Newell presented at the Partnership for Large Election Jurisdictions (PLEJ) Conference about innovation in voter outreach, highlighting how technology and strategic partnerships can expand voter access. These discussions reinforced the importance of working hand-in-hand with election officials to support voters with reliable, accessible election information. We’re grateful for the chance to contribute to these critical conversations and to continue strengthening our partnerships with the dedicated officials who run our elections.

TurboVote Help Desk staff and volunteers answered thousands of questions from users during the height of election season. Voters asked for information about critical topics like registering to vote after a move, checking whether their absentee ballots had been counted, how states keep elections secure, and more.
