Seeking motivated entrepreneur to grow heat pump distribution business Brattleboro Vermont based Delta Energy Works is seeking to become a leader in providing innovative and cost effective solutions to achieve improved living and working conditions in Northern New England. A new division of a 25 yr old business recognizes the need to phase out fossil fuel HVAC with the highest efficiency low temperature heat pumps, and represents the world’s largest manufacturer. We're currently developing a new model for providing these mechanical energy systems and services for home and small business owners. We are looking to partner with a highly motivated and entrepreneurial individual who has a spirited approach to problem solving, and who can be relied on to actualize a sales and marketing plan to drive company revenue. Main Responsibilities: - Own the responsibility for business success - Co-develop, execute, and oversee innovative sales and marketing strategy plan and associated budgeting requirements - Build and form long lasting relationships with partners and clients - Track results and trends and conduct regular KPI meetings with company leadership - Manage store operations Main Qualifications: - Proven track record of success at difficult challenges - Strong leadership and participation qualities - Collaborative approach to problem solving - Ability to build rapport with partners and clients - Previous experience in HVAC sales and related building experience in or related field a major plus - Familiarity with Google Workspace and CRM platforms We invite you to apply and describe why you think you would be an ideal candidate for this role by emailing [email protected]. You can buy solar online, but not heat pumps ? What's that about... surely solar is more complicated, right? Yes, #solar is more complicated. To properly design and finance a solar system, much has to be figured out: - Roof lines and angles must be properly modeled - Panels must be placed within inch tolerances - Sophisticated solar irradiance and shading simulations must be run - Savings metrics must be created and be bankable - Home electrical systems and roofs must be evaluated - The list goes on.... Its not exactly a walk in the park, particularly without going to house, yet it happens every day. So why can't HVAC systems be purchased this way? It's simple: data Solar sales have been powered by platforms like Aurora Solar. Valued at $4 Billion last I checked?? ?? (A picture of their platform is seen in the in the graphic below). Aurora has been able to leverage #aerialimagery and #satelliteimagery to create an incredible design interface for solar companies using sophisticated machine learning. This platform has single handedly powered the unbelievable growth we've seen in the sector. Over 10 Million projects have been designed by their platform. #heatpumps, not so much. Surely there is software that has made an attempt, #CoolCalc, as an example has taken a similar approach leveraging #aerialimagery. But the problem is deeper, to properly design a heat pump system much of the data needed is inside the home, in the walls even. Unfortunately, this data doesn't exist, at least not at scale like #aerialimagery and without a massive dataset to operate on top of, software like Aurora Solar for heat pumps can't be built. Or can it? ?? As we go through 2024, I'll explain how this can be done and give you a sneak peak at the platform we'll be releasing later this year. Buckle up. P.S.
