Missy Acosta, MBA, CDML, PCM, our Senior VP of Brand Experience, was honored with the prestigious Catalyst Award at the March of Dimes Nashville Champion of the Year event. This award is presented to individuals who secure the highest number of donors, helping March of Dimes further their mission. Missy's unwavering commitment to enhancing the lives of mothers and babies has not only earned her this notable accolade but has also brought great pride to our company. I want to emphasize the crucial link between dental health and pregnancy. Studies have shown that periodontal disease can increase the risk of low birthweight and preterm births. Many Delta Dental of Tennessee plans provide extra cleanings for pregnant women with a history of periodontal disease to help mitigate these risks. Help us celebrate our 10th Annual Holiday Campaign!! Each holiday season, we make it a point to support the children’s hospitals in Tennessee that are serving countless kids and their families. This year we are showcasing art made by patients at each of the state’s children’s hospitals. We are leaving the rest up to you! Delta Dental will contribute $70,000 to children’s hospitals across Tennessee.
