Looking forward to bringing high ABV cider in 19.2 oz cans to CA with our amazing partners like Tieton Cider Works!
The ACA is excited to share that the TTB announced today the addition of 13 new standards of fill for wine (including cider and mead), among them 473 ml (16 oz) and 569 ml (19.2 oz)! The rule is set to be published in the Federal Register on January 10 and will be effective at that time. The American Cider Association is claiming the new standards as a major victory for the cider category and the Association, as pushing for more parity with beer and wine have been priorities in the Association’s strategic efforts to lift the cider category. We're thrilled to announce that 2 Towns Ciderhouse claimed several awards, tying for the most medals of any brewery or cidery, and took home the first-ever Cidermaker of the Year award at the 2024 Great American Beer Festival! ?? ?? The state of Oregon brought home 38 medals in total, further solidifying its status as the craft beer capital of the world and a leader in the Craft Beverage Industry! Last weekend, The Great American Beer Festival Competition announced their winners in 107 categories and 175 different styles. We are excited to share that our NA Dark won GOLD in the Amber to Dark Non-Alcohol Beer category. You can find NA Dark in 6-packs or as part of our NA Action Pack variety 12-pack. In addition, our 2024 Cowiche Canyon Fresh Hop Ale was a Bronze Medal winner in the Best of Craft Beer Awards: Late Harvest Competition. Fremont partners with the Carpenters, a fifth-generation hop growing family, and Ron Britt, an agricultural researcher and hop expert who owns the land at the mouth of Cowiche Canyon, to produce Cowiche Canyon Fresh Hop Ale.
